I've done the on-line check in. If I get a text that our room is ready before we arrive at PORS am I correct that we can go directly to the room? Thought we'd have to show id for charging? We plan to get to PORS at 11am knowing room may not be ready.

Hi Nicole!

Walt Disney World is testing a program that allows you to skip the in-person check-in process by checking in online ahead of time. You can add a credit card when you go through online check-in and include a phone number for a text (and an email) when your room is ready along with your room number. The email will have a resort map attached. We were able to test this at Animal Kingdom Lodge last weekend and went directly to our room when we arrived at the resort. If your resort is testing this, you will receive an email a few days before your arrival date.
