We have never done Fast Passes before. Do you have to choose a time you will be at that specific ride or show?

    Hello, Cora,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  FastPass+ reservations are a wonderful way to reduce your waits in attraction queues. When you select them, you will be able to pick a certain window of time (based upon availability) for you to visit that attraction that works around your schedule.

If you are a Disney resort guest, you can begin making FastPass+ reservations at 7:00 am EST when you are 60 days away from your arrival date. If you aren't a Disney resort guest, you can make your reservations 30 days in advance.

If you'd like to read a how-to tutorial about making reservations, the independent website Touringplans.com has one entitled Making FastPass+ Reservations. Also, if you have a smart phone, you will want to download the My Disney Experience App so that you can modify and add FastPass+ reservations while at Walt Disney World. We used this feature on our last trip just a couple of weeks ago; it is a great tool!

If you have any further questions about Walt Disney World, please let us know.  We are happy to help! -Kara
