Hi Dolly, a quick question regarding dining on board, I have a family of 5, and I have requested to be seated on our own, what are the chances that we get our request? Also, is there a way I can request a booth in Enchanted Garden? Thanks again!

    Welcome back, Rachel -

The Enchanted Garden is a pretty dining room and everyone likes the light & mellow shades that covers the dining room. There's so much attention to detail to all the themed areas on the ship, that you literally will need several minutes to stop and stare.

If you are particular about anything for your vacation, you should most definitely put in an early request for your preferences. Dining tops off every evening, so I'm also very particular to making sure that my family and I are comfortable. You can make the special requests by calling the Disney Cruise Line travel desk directly at 1-800-951-3532. They can definitely take note of your request to dine on your own table. Though never guaranteed, I've always found that my special requests are usually granted. I usually keep realistic of course, and as long as you're not requesting anything that breaks the rules or protocols on board :-).

Those round booths at the Enchanted Garden are such a whimsical addition. It's even raised on a platform, so you are a little higher. It also gives you so much privacy, since the booth is set higher. Hopefully, you'll get what you ask for -- I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

No matter what - the food and the service will be amazing of course. I love trying different entrees on our Disney Cruise trips... it's a family must-do for each of us to try something different. Since you don't have to stop at 1 choice, you can have all-you-care-to-eat... and try. It's a great way to introduce fancy food to the kids too -- my kids' palates have become quite adventurous now.

Happy planning, Rachel. It's always a pleasure chatting with you about your upcoming voyage!
