    We are doing a WDW / Vero Beach combo vacation. How far in advance can I or should I book for the character breakfast at Vero Beach? Thanks so much!

Located along Florida's picturesque Atlantic Treasure Coast, Disney's Vero Beach Resort has become our favorite family vacation destination for the past 3 years. The moment you arrive you'll be welcomed with a relaxed and laid back pace perfect for vacation. I love that it's off the beaten path of so you can truly enjoy family time.

    Character dining with Goofy and friends at Shutters restaurant is very popular. The cheerful gang start making their welcoming rounds on Saturday mornings from around 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. You can start making your reservations as far out as 6 months from your arrival date by calling (407) 939-3463. As the only character dining experience at the resort you'll want to call right away to secure your reservation.

    After breakfast, enjoy a perfect lazy day on the beach...the best thing at Disney's Vero Beach Resort! There's nothing like taking in the beautiful scene of the coast from your beach side cabana. Don't forget to bring along a shovel and pail to build sand castles.

    Each time we've visited Vero Beach we have had fun exploring the area and talking with locales - you won't find a more friendly bunch! We love the ocean-side farmers market, beach boutiques and nearby grocery stores.
