Hi! I am doing the transatlantic cruise from Southampton to Ft Lauderdale in October 2024 and wondered how many formal/ themed nights there will be and when. Thanks 😊

Hi there, Deborah. Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you've stopped by.

I think your 13-night transatlantic Disney Cruise sounds dreamy! It will be so much fun to explore all the activities, character meet and greets, first-run movies, and live entertainment during your voyage.

As for theme nights, it looks as though your cruise is scheduled to enjoy both Pirate Night (Night 6) and Mickey's Color Spin (Night 12). Both of these take place on the pool deck and are fun for Guests of all ages! You'll want to double-check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard to confirm these evenings, as entertainment is subject to change.

Deborah, you can also plan attire for a formal night on the second evening, and a semi-formal night on the ninth evening. And with 13 whole nights, you can expect to become an expert at rotational dining on the ship. Will your favorite dining location be Royal Palace, Animator's Palate, or Enchanted Garden? I can't wait to find out!

I hope this information helps prepare you for a most marvelous trip, Deborah. Please let me know if you have any other questions - I'd love to help!
