Hi, we are doing a surprise trip soon but practically last minute so we are having to stay a little bit away from the park. We were told we could walk to the Toy Story Lot and take the shuttle (yay!). We are wondering how often those shuttles run. Thanks!

    Hi there, Misti!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A last minute trip to the Disneyland Resort sounds practically perfect in every way. How exciting!

You are correct that you may utilize the shuttle and tram services offered at the two parking locations at the Disneyland Resort to get closer to the theme park entrances. Last summer I stayed at a Good Neighbor hotel located across the street from the Toy Story Parking Area, and I was so thankful for this complimentary transportation option. Buses are not on a set schedule and constantly arrive to pick up Guests throughout the day. I have never waited more than a few minutes for a bus, and usually there has been one waiting for me as I approach the loading area.

I have made a few last-minute Disneyland trips, and I know just how exhilarating it feels. Although many Guests have made Table Service dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, I have been fortunate to often find open reservations last-minute or day-of due to other Guests cancelling their plans. You can easily check for these on the official Disneyland mobile app. If you are still looking for a special dining experience, but no reservations are available, my favorite picks that do not require reservations are Napa Rose Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge for amazing cuisine and unforgettable atmosphere.

I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
