We are doing a surprise "gender reveal" for my daughter this Sunday 12/3 at Magic Kingdom. Are we allowed to bring a sign?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie!

This is like a real-life fairy tale; to choose the most magical place on earth for such a special occasion! I bet you’ll draw a crowd who will be as excited as you and your family will be as the gender is revealed for this sweet new Mouseketeer! Have you chosen the spot for your big reveal? Be sure to find a PhotoPass Photographer that can capture the moment for you, so you can be in the moment and enjoy every second.

I’ve seen guests bring in signs without a problem for special celebrations and surprises like this one. I love seeing couples get engaged at Magic Kingdom. It just doesn’t get more romantic than that! Be sure to check the park rules for what is allowed inside the parks. As long as it can roll up and there is not anything solid that can be considered a "weapon" (pieces of wood, metal, etc.) that is attached to it, and you do not attach it to anything (you are just holding it up), definitely bring it with you and reveal away.

I hope this moment is one you cherish for many years to come! I’d start planning for a follow-up photo once that little one is here. How sweet would that be?

Have a magical time! And don’t hesitate to bring us any additional questions.

    See ya real soon,
