Welcome back to planDisney, Hannah! It’s great to see your name pop up with another fantastic Disney vacation planning question that will help not only you but also other Guests plan the perfect visit to
The Most Magical Place On Earth!
With more than
25 Disney Resorts Collection hotel options, it is hard to pick just one, isn’t it? Like you, my family enjoys a split stay when vacationing at Disney. We like to start at
Disney’s Beach Club Resort to enjoy walking to and from EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Then we like to switch to
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for easy access to Magic Kingdom Park. The flexibility of the various complimentary transportation options and the ability to walk is a huge plus.
When you have a split stay, you'll have two separate hotel reservations, each with a
60-day advance booking period for dining and
Enchanting Extras. You can make your first set of dining reservations 60 days before the check-in date of your first resort stay, covering the length of that stay. Then, 60 days before the second check-in date, you can book dining for the rest of your trip.
Regarding the new
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, I’ve learned that Guests staying at multiple Disney Resorts Collection hotels without any gaps between their reservations can purchase and select Lightning Lane Multi Passes and Single Passes for the entire duration of their stay up to 14 days.
I hope this answers your question, Hannah. If you have any more questions,
drop me a line.
Have a fantastic visit!
