We are doing a split stay with our tickets on the first resort and room only on the second. Have 2sets of Magic bands and told we need to bring both as each is linked to that portion of our package. How do we get our remaining tickets on 2nd bands?

    Hi Shawn,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. The MyMagic+ system is so new AND changing so rapidly I think we all have questions! Since you received two sets of Magic Bands, I hope you took advantage of the opportunity to get a second set of colors. Some of my friends who travel to Walt Disney World frequently are working on getting a full set of colors!

One of my favorite things about MyMagic+ is the My Disney Experience app and how much control it gives you. You will be able to use My Disney Experience to choose which Magic Band you want to use. Let's say you have a red and a blue Magic Band. You can choose to associate your ticket to the red band or the blue band or both! If you know you will only use the red band, you can deactivate the blue band in My Disney Experience.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
