"Welcome Home," Julia! Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member, I love experiencing different Disney Vacation Club Resorts and a "split stay" feels like we are getting two vacations in one!
You are correct that bell services will transfer your luggage so that you are free to be touring the parks or enjoying the resorts. On our last "split stay" we simply brought our packed bags to
bell services and explained that we were moving to the next Disney Vacation Club Resort. They tagged our bags and we were off!
Even though your bags can be easily transferred, as of today, they do not offer door-to-door guest transfer. However, I have some ideas for you! Since you will be starting your vacation at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, I would suggest taking a leisurely walk to
Disney Springs, enjoying a snack and then boarding a bus to
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. If you're looking for a highly themed spot to grab a cocktail, my husband and I love
Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar!
Another option for transferring from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa would be to board a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then use the
Resort Monorail to get to Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
And, if you're looking for that door-to-door transportation, have you considered a
Minnie Van? For an added fee, a Cast Member will pick you up and drop you off. These are bookable through the Lyft app. I took my very first Minnie Van not too long ago and loved the ease and convenience of this service.
Julia, I hope this helps as you are finalizing your next Disney Vacation Club stay. Best wishes for a Magical trip!
Lauren
