If we are doing a split stay, and purchase the Memory Maker and our tickets with the first part of the stay, will those still be active during the last two days when we stay at a different resort?

    Hello, Karrie!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question for us. I am so happy to hear that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort soon. There are so many Disney Resorts Collection Hotels to choose from, that it is so hard to pick just one. I am glad to see that you will enjoy 2 different resort experiences during your upcoming stay.

I think you are asking if your Memory Maker and theme park tickets will be valid for your entire stay. Your theme park tickets are linked to the My Disney Experience accounts of the members of your travel party on your My Family & Friends list. Your tickets are valid for the days that you have previously made Disney Park Pass Reservations. If you will be visiting the parks after you switch resorts, your tickets will still be valid.

Memory Maker is my favorite PhotoPass product. It allows me to get out from behind my camera and into the picture with my friends and family. Once you link your Memory Maker to your My Disney Experience account, you are ready for your close-up. You can add PhotoPass Photos of all your friends and family to your Memory Maker account. Photos can be captured while onboard certain rides, and when taken by Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers. Simply let the photographer scan a MagicBand, MagicMobile pass, or admission card to add photos to your account. Your photos will remain on your account for 45 days from the date they were taken. To view and download your photos, open the My Disney Experience mobile app and go to your photos. Tap on any photo to begin, you will see a notification asking you if you want to activate your Memory Maker, confirm yes. Your Memory Maker will remain active for 30 days, you can continue to capture photos and download your core memories to your phone or download all your photos at once on a laptop or computer.

If you visit Disney Springs, stop by the Disney PhotoPass Studio. You do not need an appointment, but you cannot pass up this opportunity to capture some indoor shots on some pretty neat backdrops. All photos will also be available for download on your Memory Maker account.

I hope I answered your question. If I did not or missed something you wanted to know, please come back and ask us another question. We would be happy to help.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
