Mom And Daughter Resort Room

We are doing a split stay in Jan. 2014. My question is regarding magic bands. We are receiving 2 sets of bands. Can we use them interchangeably, or do we have to use the 1st set for the 1st hotel and the 2nd set of bands for the second hotel?

    Welcome, Julie!

Thank you so very much for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking us another great question. Your vacation will be here shortly and I am sure you are filled with excitement as you count down the last few weeks.  My family loves staying at more than one resort during our visits and Disney makes it extremely simple and completely hassle-free to do just that.

In regards to your MagicBands question, you should be able to use both sets interchangeably throughout your stay.  We notified the lovely Cast Member checking us in at each resort of our desire to do so and they made sure both MagicBands were properly set up in the system so we would have no trouble.  It was fun to decorate and wear each MagicBand, but it also came in handy.  My 3-year-old would occasionally take his off during the day and when one of his made it home with grandma during the middle of our vacation, it was nice to have a spare at the ready.

I hope I have fully answered your question, but if there is anything else please don't hesitate to ask me or any of my pals here at on the Panel. Have a wonderful vacation!

    Magical Wishes,
