I am doing a split stay between Disney's Grand Californian and the Disneyland Hotel. Will bell services transfer my luggage from one resort to the other?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Samantha, you’re as welcome as can be to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You’re in for a real treat this May, staying at the Disneyland Hotel AND Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! What a great idea to split your time between both of them! I checked with a Cast Member, and was told that the Bell Desk will be happy to transfer your luggage from one hotel to the other. Simply call Bell Services ahead of time to discuss your timing, and they’ll be ready to whisk away your luggage to your next destination.

I can’t wait for you to experience the recently-opened GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill at the Grand Californian! It’s the perfect spot to sip a refreshing drink and enjoy delicious appetizers in a beautiful outdoor setting. You’re also going to love the convenience of this Craftsman-style hotel – you can move back and forth between Disney California Adventure Park and your room in a matter of minutes! This convenient entry point into the park makes nap time or pool time a breeze.

Once you arrive at the iconic Disneyland Hotel, be sure to check out the Monorail waterslides, where my kids could spend hours! You’re also going to want to visit Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, located just above the pool area. My recommendation is to sit on the outdoor patio in the evening, where you can sip on a tropical cocktail amidst the tiki torches while listening to an acoustic duo under the stars!

There’s so much to see and do at both of these fabulous Disneyland Resort hotels, including a scavenger hunt at the Grand Californian, known as The Grand Quest, and Trivia Challenges within Disneyland Park (head to the Guest Services desk in the main lobby of the Disneyland Hotel for more information). There’s even a small prize available to Guests after completing these challenges, which is a great way to score a complimentary souvenir!

Wishing you a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth, Samantha!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
