Hey there, Caitlin!
Welcome to planDisney, we are so happy to meet you! You sound like my type of vacationer, we love booking our visits as split stays. Initially, I’ll be honest, I was hesitant to do this with my little ones but I think we’ve mastered the move. Tip: Pack based on resort stays. For example, one suitcase has everything we need for our first resort, the other suitcase is for the second half of the trip. When I say everything, I mean outfit-wise because as an over-packer, I always have more than two suitcases with me no matter the length of my trip.
When it comes to time, there isn’t a set time your items will arrive. I always say to plan for check-in time and keep anything you may need with you. We usually drop off our bags with
Bell Services early, head to
the parks, and head to our new resort once we get the text saying our room is ready. You can also always call Bell Services and have your luggage dropped off at your room once you've arrived if your timing doesn’t work out as planned. Hakuna Matata, you should have your things with you by the time bedtime rolls around.
Caitlin, you can also ask the Cast Members at Bell Service what time they are estimating your things to arrive at your new resort. Keep in mind that it is an estimate, so make sure to keep anything you may need with you throughout the day. If you are heading to the parks, you can always store your extras in a
locker so that you don’t have to carry them around. We like to carry our extras in one of those reusable bags you can purchase in most
stores and placing that tote in the locker. It’s super convenient, and the reusable bag doubles as a souvenir!
I hope this helps answer your question and these tips help make your split stay transition run smoothly! Enjoy your visit and if you have any other questions, you know where to
find us!
Have a magical visit,
Shantel
