If doing a split stay will Disney Bell services transfer you luggage from say the grand Floridian to the Dolphin or Swan?

Hello, David! With dozens of fantastic Resort hotels to choose from at Walt Disney World, sometimes it's hard to pick only one! I've done a split stay before, and it's a great way to extend your Disney dollars.

I spoke with Guest Services today, and they confirmed that Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa would indeed be able to transfer your luggage to the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels. On the day of check-out from the Grand Floridian, you can bring your bags to Bell Services, and they'll arrange to have your belongings transferred to the Swan or Dolphin Hotel so you can have fun at the Parks. Just note that it may take several hours for your bags to show up at your next resort, so I'd recommend packing a small drawstring bag with swimming clothes and/ or an outfit for dinner and taking it with you to the Parks, just in case (when we did this a few years back, we received our luggage at the second resort at 5:00 PM).

Something else that I wanted to mention is that while you'll be eligible for Disney's Magical Express Service from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, it will, unfortunately, be unavailable from the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels back to the airport. So you'll need to make arrangements; Uber and Lyft are always reliable options.

David, I know you're going to have a magical trip! You've picked resorts that are conveniently located to both Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, so you'll get the best of both "Worlds!"

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
