We are doing a split stay with the DDP for both stays. I'm wondering how that works for the check out/check in day that overlaps? I know you have until Midnight to use the credits, but will the system recognize or use the "old" credits first?

    Hi Jennifer,

Your magical vacation to World Disney World Resort starts VERY soon. Awesome!

The Disney Dining Plans are an excellent way to manage your meal budgets since you can easily include the cost of them in a Magic Your Way Vacation Package. There are several options to choose from, but my favorite is the Disney Dining Plan.

Your meal entitlements become available as soon as you check in to your Disney Resort hotel, and are available for you to use until midnight of the day you check out of your hotel. Now, since you have a back to back reservation, it's a very good question of what would happen, so I did a little digging.

If you do not do check-in for your second reservation, no problem at all. Once you check in for your second reservation, your meal entitlements (and Theme Park tickets) will become valid. Now, if you still have meal or snack credits, they are supposed to be used first, however, you do want to mention to the cashier or server to take the credits from your first reservation. You can also check with the Concierge Desk at your Resort hotel, or Guest Relations, to make sure of the number of credits you have left, during that overall day. They can also help you in the event that the credit was deducted from the wrong reservation.

Hope you have a magical vacation and see you real soon!

    Ricardo.
