    If doing a split stay (bay lake rental to a value or moderate for 1 night before our flight) how easy and quick is the luggage transfer done? And can I take advantage of bay lake amenities the entire day of check out?

    Hi Nicole. I cannot thank you enough for all of the questions you have shared with the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so nice to see you again!!

    I'm happy to tell you transferring from one Resort hotel to the next is very easy! On the day of your transfer, you simply pack your bags and call Bell Services. Let them know you are transferring to a new Resort hotel. A Cast Member will come to your room and together, you will count your bags. The Cast Member will give you a claim check and then you are free to go enjoy yourself! Be sure you keep anything with you that you will need throughout the day because it will take a few hours for your luggage to be delivered to your new Resort hotel. When you arrive at the new Resort hotel, call Bell Services or Luggage Assistance (Value Resort hotels), give them your baggage claim number and they will bring your items to you.

    More great news...you absolutely can enjoy the amenities of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort throughout the day of your check-out. We have done this ourselves. My kiddos love Bay Cave Pool! They can spend hours on the waterslide, and have. We also love the dining and shopping options at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you make any purchases the day of your check-out, the charge will be added to your folio and closed out at the end of the day. I'm so excited for you to stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort! It's one of our favorites! Enjoy your time there!
