We are doing a split stay (AKL 3 nights/Port Orleans 5 nights) and only have the DDP for the second half of our stay. Will we be able to use the plan for breakfast at Boma the day we are switching resorts if we haven't officially checked in at PO yet?

    Hi Danah,

Only a few more days until your magical vacation. How exciting! Let me be quick so you can finish packing up.

We all have our favorite Resort Hotel, but when everyone cannot agree on the which one, a split stay is a great way to compromise. A couple of years ago, my family stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and then we moved to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. And bell services moved the luggage for us. So easy!

All Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits start the moment you Check-In and are good until midnight of your Check-Out day. You may want to take advantage of Online Check-In. Have bell service help you move your luggage out of your room, and then before your breakfast, start your Check-In at your second Resort. This will activate your Dining Plan entitlements.

One last tip: you can pick up your Theme Park Tickets associated with your second reservation, up to three days earlier. Just visit Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs. See you real soon!
