Rebecca from LA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are doing a specialty fireworks cruise that departs from the Yacht Club Marina. Where can we park and how long before can we park there? We have a member of our party with limited mobility, so the shorter the distance the better.

Hey there Rebecca welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question.

Walt Disney World is a place full of special extras bedside going into one of the theme parks. that make your regular night turn into a spectacular one. Your group is going to have a great experience out on Bay Lake.

The Specialty Cruises allow you to charter a private boat to experience EPCOT Forever in a special way. This fireworks cruise aboard a 25-foot vessel is accompanied by a captain to cruise your group of up to 10 across Bay Lake. You will have a different view than you may be used to and memories to go with it. Included with your cruise is assorted snacks and soft drinks. When you arrive at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort you will let security know you have a Specialty Cruise scheduled for this evening. You will want to arrive at the Marina at least 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the fireworks start time. If one of your party has mobility issues I would recommend dropping them off at the front door and then parking your car. You will be able to park your car at the resort for the time before and during your cruise.

Depending on the time the fireworks are scheduled for you may still be able to hang out at the resort if you make a reservation for one of my favorite desert locations. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is open most nights until 11 p.m. and is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The No Way José is a peanut butter and chocolate sundae constructed of vanilla and chocolate ice cream topped with peanut butter and chocolate morsels as well as a cherry. This one comes highly recommended.

I hope this information helps you get around the resort a little easier and most importantly promptly. Please visit us again at planDisney.com if you have any other questions.

    Have a magical stay,

    Jeremy A.
