Hello. We are doing in September and have already purchased tickets. Do we get cards for that day or do I just use the bar codes on my phone on the app?

Welcome back to planDisney, Valeria! We’re so glad you stopped by with another fabulous question!

You must be getting so excited about your upcoming vacation. I know it may not seem like it just yet, but it really is just around the corner! Before you know it, you’ll be hopping on one of Walt Disney World’s fabulous attractions and munching on some incredible snacks as you scroll through the parks. Speaking of munching, did you know that your visit lines up with the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? How lucky are you?! If you get a chance to do so, I highly recommend spending some time at EPCOT to revel in all the festival offers. Of course, EPCOT's festivals are famous for the culinary creations from the many outdoor kitchens, but have you heard about the incredible live music? The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will definitely get you moving and grooving, with fantastic artists scheduled to perform throughout the festival. Be sure to keep an eye on your My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date concert showtimes so you don't miss out on the fun.

Now, when you purchased your tickets, there is an option to select your delivery method. It looks as though you chose the Email option. So, you can enter the parks with your Disney MagicMobile pass using an iPhone, Apple Watch or Google Pay-enabled Android phone. To use the MagicMobile pass, you’ll want to start by linking your ticket to your My Disney Experience account by following the steps below:

    • Open up the email confirmation you would have received with you purchased your tickets.
    • Locate the barcode in the upper right-hand corner with a long number underneath - this is your ticket number.
    • Once you have that, open up your My Disney Experience app, click on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner, and select "Tickets and Passes."
    • Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and enter the number under the barcode manually or click on "Scan Code" to scan the bar code from your confirmation.
    • Follow the prompts, and you’re all linked up!

Next, you’ll want to set up Disney MagicMobile in your My Disney Experience account:

    • Log into your My Disney Experience account and click on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
    • Select “Disney MagicMobile” and click on “Set Up Your Pass.”
    • From there, select the Guest you would like to set up and click on “Change Pass Style” to pick one of the many fabulous options.
    • Then, follow the prompts to add the Disney MagicMobile pass to your device, and you are all set!

Of course, if you would like to, you can absolutely pick up a physical Key to the World Card to use on your trip when you arrive at Walt Disney World. You can pick these up from the front desk of any Disney Resorts Collection hotel, the ticket booth outside of each theme park, and even at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. I always like to pick one up as they make for a super neat keepsake to remember my fabulous vacation!

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you. Please feel free to visit us again with any other Walt Disney World vacation planning questions you may have!

    Bye for now!
