We are doing a semi-last minute trip to DW (going in about 4 weeks). I would LOVE to do a character dining for breakfast. Of course everything is booked solid. Does anyone have any good recommendations for catching a cancellation? Thanks!

Hi Rebekah! It is not uncommon for guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort to book Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) 180 prior to their visit. Disney Character Dining experiences are much coveted and therefore reservations fill rather quickly. To check for availability, I suggest calling (407) WDW-DINE or go online here. I also recommend making daily inquiries between now and your departure day. If booking online, enter the date, time, and "Character Dining" in the field labeled "Cuisine or Dining Experience." I know of a few guests who were able to book last minute ADRs at Cinderella's Royal Table using that method. Persistence does pay off. Cancellations do happen from time to time. So again, check both over the phone and online. If all else fails, go to the restaurant once you arrive on property. You might be able to snag a seat from someone who doesn't show up or cancels at the very last minute. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
