We are doing run Disney in April 2027 and want to do Epcot what is the best way to do this ?

Hi Sarah and welcome to planDisney! I love runDisney races, you can often find me doing many of the challenges dressed up as some of my favorite Disney characters like Donald Duck and Aladdin. But enough about me, let’s talk about your upcoming visit during the runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend. So lace up your shoes and let’s race on over to your question!

I recommend visiting EPCOT after your race. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, runDisney provides complimentary transportation back to your hotel after the race. After you’ve showered up, grab you medal and head back to EPCOT for a post-race celebration! After a runDisney race, I love taking pictures with my medal at iconic spots in front of Spaceship Earth or Cinderella Castle. Here’s a bonus tip! You’ll want to ask PhotoPass photographers about any race-related magic shots.

Luckily, your visit will also coincide with the International Flower & Garden Festival. After conquering Springtime Surprise Weekend, you can take your time admiring all the colorful topiaries around EPCOT. Be on the lookout for the foodie guide as well to get a preview of all the delicious snacks and drinks! If you decide to go to EPCOT prior to the races, you may want to consider having a hearty meal to carb load at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria or Tutto Italia Ristorante.

As we approach the finish, Sarah, I want to thank you for visiting planDisney. I hope this gives you an idea of the best way to visit EPCOT during your upcoming runDisney race. If you have any further questions about your upcoming visit, feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
