We will be doing riderswitch since we will be having our baby. Is the second party allowed to wait with us until we get closer to the front or do they have wait at the entrance until we are done getting off the ride?

    Welcome to planDisney, Iriz!

Having a small baby myself, I really appreciate Rider Switch Service offered at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. It’s so wonderful that the second party going on the ride does not have to wait in the line after watching the little one! I’m so happy that this feature is a part of the magic at The Happiest Place on Earth!

The second party will need to wait outside the attraction in order to utilize Rider Switch Service, and it’s actually quite nice to not be confined with a small baby in the ride queue as it can get a little difficult to easily exit attraction queues, and the wait can be long. Instead, I’d recommend enjoying the Baby Care Centers, getting a treat, or enjoying the magical scenery while you wait for the first party to exit the attraction!

You’re going to have a lovely trip, Iriz! If you have additional questions, we’d love to hear from you again at planDisney!
