Are they doing reservations for Disneyland Park yet? I am needing it for end of July. Been trying to find information...I have had this trip planned since we found out my friend doesn’t have much time with his kids left and we are needing to make memories.

Hi there, Tami, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR!

The current closing of the Disneyland Resort has been difficult for so many families, and I’m so sorry that it has affected your friend and his family, too. So far, here’s the information we have: Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is reopening Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on July 11, 2020, followed by Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot reopening on July 15, 2020. At this time, unfortunately we don’t have a reopening date for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park in California. I recommend keeping an eye on this page and on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest announcements and updates.

In the meantime, the Disneyland Resort is accepting reservations for bookings at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels for travel dates July 15, 2020 and later. So, you could go ahead and book your hotel reservation for your preferred date now, but would need to keep in mind that the reservation may need to be changed if the Resort hasn’t opened by that date. Also, upon reopening, the Disneyland Resort theme parks, hotels, and restaurants may be subject to capacity limits. Unfortunately, we don’t have specific information about these limits just yet, so once again, I recommend checking the “Update on Disneyland Resort Operations” page and the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest Disney Parks news.

While we’re awaiting the latest theme-park news, I suggest adding a dose of Disney magic to your lives right now with the help of #DisneyMagicMoments! This is the perfect spot to get inspired to make your favorite Disney Parks recipes, from delicious Disney Parks Churro Bites to the fan-favorite Mickey Mouse-shaped Beignets! This could be the perfect way for you to bring your friend and his children a taste of the parks, even when we can’t be there in person just yet. Perhaps you could pick out some favorite Disney souvenirs to bring his children, too! I'm loving the Summer Spotlight section on ShopDisney.com right now!

I sincerely hope it works out for your friend and his family to make magical memories together soon at the Happiest Place on Earth, Tami! I'm sending a load of pixie dust your way!

Wishing you and your friend good health and Disney magic!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
