Hello! After doing some research on FAQ I am still curious. As my first time travelling to the states, I would like to know how to travel from LA to Anaheim. I am staying in an up to a mile hotel outside the parks. How can I access them? The route. Thanks!

    Hi there, Malena!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. Welcome to the United States! Southern California is full of fun and exciting activities, including Disneyland Resort! I hope you have time to explore this fantastic area.

How you get to Disneyland Resort from Los Angeles depends on various factors. Los Angeles is roughly 30 - 40 miles away (depending on where you are in Los Angeles, it could be further). Guests flying into LAX, the Los Angeles International Airport, can use a rideshare service, rent a car, or find a shuttle service.

The Los Angeles Metro also has a bus and rail service. After exiting the baggage claim area at LAX, wait under the Shuttle & Airline Connections sign on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal. Ride the "G" shuttle to the Aviation Station and head to the west end of the platform. Board the Metro Rail Green Line headed east toward Norwalk. Once you arrive at the Norwalk Station, board the Metro Express Line 460 bus headed to the Disneyland Resort. Make sure to check the schedule before arriving at LAX, as schedules and routes can change at any time.

Another option at this time is the Karmel Shuttle Service. They provide vans, SUVs, and town cars, depending on the number of Guests in your party. I suggest making a reservation ahead of time, if possible. After collecting your luggage, call their provided number for pickup. Or, if you give a cell phone number ahead of time, they often send you a text alert upon landing. Just tap the “Ready to Go” link in the text. You will be provided with both a vehicle number and a license plate number. This service is also subject to change at any time.

Once arriving at your hotel, you can ask them how to get to Disneyland Resort. Many nearby hotels offer complimentary shuttles to Disneyland Resort. I like to walk to the theme parks. It is a good way to get my family excited for a fun day at Disneyland Resort!

Malena, enjoy your first trip to the United States! Do not hesitate to contact planDisney again if you have other questions!
