Hi, we're doing a repositioning cruise from Vancouver to San Diego on 9/28/26 to 10/3/26. I am curious if there are any themed nights on this cruise. Thanks for your help

Ahoy, Melissa, and welcome to planDisney! You're in for a treat – the Disney Wonder is an amazing ship, and it will be so fun to sail along the Pacific Coast!

At the time of writing this, it doesn't seem like the schedule for your 5-night cruise has been released yet. However, I looked at some of the recent and upcoming Pacific Coast repositioning cruises to get a sense of what you might expect. The 4-night cruises from either Vancouver or San Diego seem to include Pirate Night with fireworks and an optional dress-up night. I recommend checking back as your cruise gets closer to see if additional information is available.

Pirate Night usually features a pirate-themed dinner, special entertainment, crafts, and more. Dressing up is completely optional, but it adds an extra layer of fun to the evening’s festivities. And you can get a little fancy on the optional dress-up night – think along the lines of dress pants and a jacket, a dress, or a pantsuit. Of course, cruise casual attire is still fine if preferred.

I'm so excited for you to experience the Disney Wonder. I sailed on it with my family last year, and we had such a great time! Some of the highlights for us were Tiana's Place (a Main Dining restaurant exclusive to the Disney Wonder), the Broadway-style shows, fresh beignets from French Quarter Lounge, the variety of onboard activities, and the ship's cozy size.

If you want to keep the magic going after your cruise, you could consider making a pit stop at the Disneyland Resort before heading home. It's about a two-hour train ride from San Diego to Anaheim. Of course, you could always save that for a future trip!

Make sure you download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your cruise. Once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi, the app will populate with the most up-to-date entertainment and activity schedules, dining rotation details, and more.

Melissa, I hope you have a fantastic time sailing aboard the Disney Wonder this fall! If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.
