Hi Wesley!
I'm so happy to hear that you will be able to spend a little bit of time at Walt Disney World Resort during your trip to Orlando! Since you will be enjoying a quick visit, you will definitely want to take advantage of the
FastPass+ System during your trip so you can make the most of your time in the theme parks. You are able to make three FastPass+ reservations in advance of your trip for each of your theme park days, which will allow you to enjoy many of the attractions and entertainment events on your "must-do" list while bypassing their Standby queues!
Unfortunately,
Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. So once you purchase a 2-day theme park ticket, you are not able to downgrade it to a 1-day theme park ticket and receive a refund. However, you are able to upgrade theme park tickets to include additional days. So if there is a possibility that you will be visiting Walt Disney World for one or two days, I would recommend that you purchase a 1-day theme park ticket in advance and upgrade it to a 2-day ticket if your itinerary allows for an additional day of magic.
You can upgrade your theme park ticket to include your additional day by visiting any of the theme park ticket windows, Guest Relations locations or the lobby concierge at any of the Disney Resort hotels. When you upgrade, you will pay the difference between the cost of your original ticket and the cost of the new ticket you will be using, so you can still take advantage of the daily savings on a 2-day ticket. Keep in mind that you must have remaining admissions on your ticket to complete your upgrade, so you need to upgrade your ticket during your first theme park day.
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
