We are doing 2 parks in 1 day. I booked my FP+ for the 2nd park/afternoon thinking I could get regular FP at the first park in the morning but it looks like this might not be the case? If I have prebooked FP+, can I still get regular FP for the morning?

Hello Cindi, thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As of earlier this year, all of the FastPasses have been upgraded to the FastPass+.  You will no longer be able to acquire a paper FastPass and then use your FastPass+ selections.  Depending on when you plan to arrive at the park in the morning, you may not need a FastPass+.  If you are taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, you will be able to get in your favorite attractions before the lines get too busy.  In addition to your 3 FastPass+ selections, after you have used all of them, you then can obtain a rolling FastPass+.  That basically means after your initial 3, you can head to the nearest FastPass+ kiosk, reserve one, use it and then head back to a kiosk to reserve another.

This probably isn't the news you were hoping for but I can tell you that I really like the new FastPass+ system.  I think once you get used to it, you will too.  If you have any other questions about the new FastPass+ or anything else, please feel free to ask me.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
