We are doing a park a day & staying at Port Orleans. I was wondering if its better to eat later (those 9 o'clock times) than sooner (around 7) if you want to be able to see/do what you need to do in each park than return to hotel to get ready for di

    Hello Morgan,

It can be easy to get caught up in the fantasy and whimsy of all that is Disney World.

My family likes to enjoy breakfast before heading to the Theme Parks. Then once we are in the Parks, we're having so much fun...whammo! You look at your Mickey watch and realize it's past lunchtime. So while I try to keep my daughter on some sort of schedule, it doesn't always happen.

What I suggest doing is hitting all your "must-do's" in the Park and then head back to your Resort for a late afternoon lunch. This will give you a well deserved break. You can then return to the Parks refreshed.  Try out a few more attractions. And then your family will be ready for a late dinner reservation. If your family is able to wait until after 8 p.m. for dinner, I say do it. The dinner crowds will have died down in the restaurants, and you will be able to enjoy more of the Parks before settling in for the evening.

    Hope this helps!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
