    Doing the package that included dining for certain dates. Wanted to stay extra day so bought extra day at Caribbean Beach but couldn't add on dining and park. Wondering what you suggest would be things we could do the day we arrive at 1pm? Go downtown?

    Hi Julie,

    On my day of arrival during a Walt Disney World vacation, I love to immerse myself in the amenities of my home resort.  You and your family could enjoy the lovely beaches and pools at Disney's Caribbean Resort or wander the beautifully manicured grounds there.  Then hop on a bus to Downtown Disney.  What a wonderful place to shop and dine.  There are an incredible variety of restaurants from which you can choose for a lovely dinner.  You could also take in a movie at the theater at Downtown Disney, buy tickets for a performance of La Nouba, or explore DisneyQuest. 

    Spa services at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland, or an afternoon at one of the Disney Water Parks are other options worth considering on your day of arrival.
