When doing online check in the site will not let me put a room location request in.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca!

Hooray for using online check in! I love getting that magical text message upon arrival that my room is ready. It’s a time saver and it allows my family to dive straight into the magic and then just head straight to our room at the end of our adventure-filled days at the theme parks without having to go by the front desk to check in. It’s real life magic!

Rebecca, during my last stay, when I was doing my online check in, I had a similar hiccup where I tried to make my room request selections, but when I hit save, they wouldn’t stick. I ended up reaching out to a friendly cast member who told me the system had saved them, but that for some odd reason, I was unable to see them on my end. She assured me they were locked in and we were able to get a fantastic room for our stay!

Do keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed, but if you want to be sure that your requests are being saved, you can call in to Disney’s Reservation help line by calling (407) 939-5277 where a Cast Member can confirm any requests and also make any notes to your reservation. Be sure to mention any special celebrations if you choose to call in! You never know what pixie dust might land on you.

Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question. I hope you have an unforgettable stay during your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort

    See ya real soon!
