We are doing both the 7 night fjords cruise and 7 night British isles cruise from Dover and was wondering if there are any special nights or events onboard such as pirate night or meeting frozen characters. Thanks

Ahoy there, Karen - or should I say "Hallo" (that's Hello in Norwegian!) - and thank you for sending us your question here at planDisney!

First, let me say that you are checking TWO of my DREAM cruises off my WISH list! You may have heard of cruises that "double-dip" (itineraries that have two stops at Disney Castaway Cay) but I think you've managed to create an entirely new category of doubly-amazing itineraries. Mind if my family and I tag along? I know just enough Norwegian to be of absolutely zero help at your European Ports of Call, and it's been quite some time since I've been in the British Isles, but I'm a quick walker and will make sure we get to EVERYTHING!

All joking aside, I can't wait for you to experience everything that awaits you on your two amazing itineraries. Since I've yet to experience these sailings - I pulled into port to ask a crew member if you could expect a Pirate Night on either. I'm sorry to say that neither of those itineraries are scheduled to be boarded by pirates...if I had to guess, I'd say it's likely they don't have the proper attire to be effective pirates at those Northern latitudes!

Since you'll be safe from pirates, that should give you plenty of time to keep your eye on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. That is the absolute best way to find out when and where Character Greetings are scheduled to happen, and since entertainment is always subject to change, you may stumble across some spur-of-the-moment magic as well! With 14 magical nights at sea, you'll have plenty of opportunities, so keep a weather eye open!

Speaking of the Navigator app, did you know you can use it to explore the Port Adventures available on your sailing from your smartphone? With so much time before your embarkation day, you have plenty of time to figure out what you'd like to do in each of the exciting Ports of Call as well as your sea days. From the awe of old Northern Ireland in Belfast on your British Isles cruise, to the natural beauty of the many fjords you'll visit (like Eidfjord) on your Norwegian itinerary there's no shortage of things to get excited about!

No matter what you decide, one thing I know for certain is you'll be well taken care of by the crew of the Disney Magic throughout your sailings. From Disney Cruise Line's exclusive Rotational Dining, to Broadway-style shows like Tangled: The Musical and activities for the entire family, you and your party are in for the adventure(s) of a lifetime!

Thank you again for letting me live vicariously through your plans, Karen. If you think of any other questions while planning, you know where to find me here at planDisney! I'll just be over here brushing up on my Norwegian with Kristoff, Sven and Oaken - just in case!

Takk for nå (Thanks for Now)
