Anchors aweigh, JR! Thanks for plotting your course to planDisney. We're happy you're here.
JR, 4 is a great age to experience Disney Cruise Line for the first time. Your daughter is going to love
Disney's Oceaneer Club on the
Disney Magic. Whether she's playing in Andy's Room or maybe channeling her inner Tinker Bell in Pixie Hollow, her visit to Disney's Oceaneer Club is a great time for you to grab a drink and enjoy the fresh air up on deck!
Now, JR, in order to soak in the sun and enjoy all there is to see and do about Disney Cruise Line, let's talk about travel documentation. If your daughter is a U.S. Citizen, a passport is not required for your sailing from San Diego (as it is a closed-loop cruise, departing and arriving at the same port). Instead of a passport, you'll need to submit one of the following choices for her:
- Passport card OR
- Original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate* OR
- Original Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State OR
- Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
(JR, please note that guests over the age of 16 must present a Government-issued ID in addition to one of the preceding.) While these are the current travel documentation requirements for your sailing, please note that you should
check for updates should you cruise again in the future.
I hope this helps as you're preparing to set sail in November. If you have any additional questions, just point your compass in the direction of planDisney and come on back!
Wishing you fair winds and following seas,
Lauren
