Hi moms! Doing some meticulous planning... wanted to know if it is acceptable/allowed to send 1 member of group for drinks while everyone else gets in line for a ride then when that member returns they join us or is that frowned upon by others waiting?

Hello, Janette!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Meticulous planning is what needs to happen prior to any Walt Disney World vacation. This is the best way to utilize every minute of your day.  Trust me, you will be happy you did all this planning ahead of time.  Now let's go straight to your question.

Yes, you are more than welcome to send a member of your party to grab some drinks while you and other family members stay in line.  I do not want to lie, but the person grabbing the drinks may or may not get some mean glares when they try to make their way back to your party.  It all depends on the mood of the crowd.  Tensions may be running high from parents having to deal with little ones who are fussy about waiting in line for so long, the heat or just tired guests.  However, many folks will simply smile and move aside.  My husband is always grabbing the snacks and drinks while my family waits. The majority of the time he gets looks of "we understand".
