doing lots of research for my may trip-we have the DDP and it looks like from reviews that the restaurants dont allow salads as a dining plan choice-we all are big salad eaters with dinner esp...i dont want to pay xtra since we have the DDP-options?

    Hi Dawn,

If the salad is offered as the main course on the menu, you are able to use your Dining Plan. For example, some restaurants have a Mediterranean Salad or Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. Where you may run into issues using the Dining Plan is at Table Service restaurants. If the salad is not your main entree and you are wanting one as an additional side...then In that case, you would need to pay for it. This is the same case if you are wanting an additional side of fries or other item on top of what is included in the Dining Plan.

My fellow Panelist Doug, who is currently inactive, answered a question regarding the best Quick Service restaurants to get a salad with using the Dining Plan. You can read his answer: HERE.

Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation,
