Hi All - Doing land/sea in 8/09. Do you know what time the cruise bus picks up at the GF? Heard it's late, noon time? Do you recommend keeping transfers or should we arrange for trans through the hotel concierge? We're a family of 6(2 Ad, 4 kids) Thanks

If you are sailing on the Disney Wonder for a Thursday or Sunday departure, your family should meet at the Disney Cruise Line hospitality desk in the Grand Floridian. Please be there by 11:00 a.m. as the departure time is 11:15 a.m.

For sailing on the Disney Magic which departs on Saturdays, departure time from the Grand Floridian is 11:30 a.m.

DCL transfers are very convenient. Your luggage will be taken care of for you, the bus shows an entertaining video and you can relax knowing that you'll get to the ship on time.

The departure times from the GF will work well. If you get to Port Canaveral any earlier, you'll just be waiting in lines. Note that official boarding time is 1:00 p.m.

The downside to DCL transportation is the cost. Currently, the rate is $35 one-way or $69 round-trip per person. For a large family, this can be very expensive for a bus ride that takes only one hour.  There are other options available.

Wishing your family a magical journey!
