We are doing a land and sea vacation and I am thinking of renting a car for transportation to the port. Will I be charged for parking if I rent the car the morning of resort checkout or will I be able to bring the car to the resort to load of bags?

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

You are doing it RIGHT!  My favorite way to jump into the magic is with a land and sea vacation.  Combining time at both Walt Disney World and onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship is truly an adventure!

When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, there is a fee for overnight self parking or valet parking.  Standard self service parking for the day is complimentary at the resort as long as the vehicle is removed before the end of the evening.  You can park and load your luggage into the vehicle on the morning you check out without being assessed a parking fee.

Be sure to check out car rentals offered at Disney's Car Care Center.  This is a very convenient location if you plan to rent a vehicle and they offer complimentary shuttle service from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

If you plan to keep your rental car the duration of your cruise for your return back to the airport, parking fees at the cruise terminal do apply.

Enjoy making memories on your magical adventure, James!  "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
