Ahoy, Janet!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are planning my favorite kind of trip! In my opinion, a
Disney Vacation by Land and Sea is the perfect combination of a high-seas adventure aboard
Disney Cruise Line and the excitement of a stay at Walt Disney World Resort! When we set sail, we often include days at Walt Disney World Resort after our cruise. It always makes disembarking our Disney Cruise a little less sad.
Janet, we have never called our
Walt Disney World Resort hotel in advance to inform them that we're arriving early from Port Canaveral. When we arrive to our Resort hotel, we usually pass our luggage to the Bell Services Team to hold for us until our rooms are ready. Then, we check in and grab a delicious lunch at the Resort hotel! It has been our experience that our rooms have been ready earlier than the expected time! In my opinion, there is no need to inform your Resort hotel of your early arrival, but if you'd like to give them a call and add a note onto your reservation, that would be great, too!
Are you taking
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World Resort? We love adding Ground Transfers onto our Disney Cruise reservation because the ride is care-free and fun! Traveling in a pixie-dusted motor coach always gets us psyched for the fun-filled days ahead during the land portion of our trip!
I'm wishing you an unforgettable voyage and magical time at Walt Disney World!
