Welcome aboard, Katherine!
Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel. The famous sisters are definitely on a lot of family must-see lists as they start planning for their trips to the Disney parks. Since you've got a little bit of time working for you, you might want to familiarize yourself with how the FastPass+ system can be of use to you when you go visit the parks in April 2015. There are meet and greets with characters that you can schedule 60 days out - and you can plan your day by choosing up to
3 FastPass+ experiences at each park for that day that you are visiting.
My family's typical vacation is also a Land and Sea combination. We will usually spend a few days at the parks first, and then we continue the magic, as we board the Disney Cruise on a voyage out on the high seas. You do a lot of walking out at the parks and it really is a lot of fun, but very tiring. Once you've burned all that energy, it's great to be able to relax and get yourself pampered on the Disney Cruise. The characters on each ship do vary. There really is no way of knowing which characters are guaranteed to be sailing with you on your specific voyage. The
onboard character list for meet and greets still changes to this day, as we've seen happen this past summer as Princess Anna and Queen Elsa started making their appearances in the Alaska sailings. I do highly recommend that you check the daily Personal Navigator beginning on embarkation day. You'll also get this every night delivered to your stateroom. The navigator will provide you the following days' activities, which include character meet and greets. If there are any advanced reservation required, you'll also see it there - you can also ask about the Frozen characters with Guest Services when you embark. Hope this helps! ~ Dolly
