We will be doing to Keys to the Kingdom tour in February and we need to be at the MK by 7:45 AM. What is the best way to get there if the park opens at 9:00? That time seems a bit too early for the resort buses, express monorail or even the ferry.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Paul!  Early morning transportation can be hairy when you’re needing to arrive early for a special occasion! I’ve had to be present for tours as well as early breakfasts, so I hope I have you covered.

If the parks opens at 9am on your special day, you can bet that most busses won’t begin running until 8am, however I urge you to check with your Resort concierge. They may be able to tell you if there is an early morning dining or tour bus that will be running to serve you and other guests. If it is not running, there are a few other options. If you happen to be staying at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, Disney’s Boardwalk, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you’ll find Minnie Van service beginning early in the morning. Visit your concierge for a LYFT code to use the service to go anywhere on Walt Disney World Resort property for a flat fee of $20. Alternatively, you can catch and UBER, LYFT or taxi to take you to your destination for a lesser fee. Either way, a little evening beforehand work will reap dividends in the morning so you can ready yourself at your own pace.

I hope your tour is full of magic and you learn something new. That always makes me smile! ~ Lindsey P.
