Hi moms! We are doing an impromptu trip to FL and simply cannot go without having SOME Disney time. My dilemma is that we only have 1 day. Do we do MNSSHP or Food and Wine Festival? It would be my 3 teenagers, my husband and I... the vote is split... HELP!

    Hi Samantha,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How wonderful that you will have a day to spend at Walt Disney World during your impromptu Florida trip! You are choosing between two great events. I love both the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I have been to both events multiple times with my family.

If I was making this choice, I would choose to visit the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I think that this event will give you a long day with many choices. You can start in the late morning trying foods at the Global Marketplaces. During the day, you can see if there are any culinary seminars that you would like to try. You can wander the World Showcase all day, and end with an Eat to the Beat concert. With three teenagers, this seems like it could be a full and relaxed day to me.

Of course, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also a tremendous amount of fun! I do not think you can go wrong by attending this event at Magic Kingdom and taking in all of the special Halloween entertainment including the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade and the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks.

With either choice, I am sure that you will have a magical day, Samantha. Please do let us know if you have any further questions!
