I am doing the Give a Day volunteering for a free ticket. My time will be complete 2 weeks before we go to Disney, but I just noticed the fine print saying verification of time may take up to 2 weeks. What if I don't get this in time am I out of luck?

    Hi Jeanette!
Don't you just love this the new Disney Promotion for this year--Give a Day, Get a Disney Day!  My son and I volunteered and had a blast volunteering together.  So the fine print does say that it can take up to 2 weeks once your service is verified to receive the voucher for your free ticket, but I can tell you that my son and I received the e-mail with our vouchers 3 days after our service!  Disney is doing a great job in turning around the verifications for the free park tickets.  I have heard of a lot of people receiving their vouchers in less than 2 weeks.

One thing that you can do to help speed up the process is to mention that you are going to Disney in two weeks to whomever is coordinating the verification of service to Hands On Network from your volunteer opportunity and they may be able to put you to the front of the line so to speak.  It is my understanding that a timely verification of service to Hands On Network ensures a quicker voucher processing for Disney and a faster voucher e-mail to you so you can enjoy your park tickets sooner!

I hope that you have an awesome time volunteering and a magical time using your free Walt Disney World ticket!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
