If your doing a gender reveal could you have pink or blue fireworks

Welcome to planDisney, Pat! Thanks so much for asking us your question!  I can't think of a better place to announce and celebrate your exciting news other than The Most Magical Place on Earth!

With your arrival date approaching at the end of the month, let's talk about your options for announcing the gender of your baby! Flora and Merryweather are still disagreeing about the color of Aurora's birthday gown and they would love to have a say about the color of the fireworks too! While this would be a fun way to reveal your baby's gender, the new nighttime spectacular, Disney Enchantment, is currently scheduled nightly at Magic Kingdom Park. At this time, it is the only projections and fireworks display for guests to enjoy.

I know this might not be the answer you had hoped for. I have some other suggestions for very fun Disney ways to share whether it will be a prince or a princess! At Magic Kingdom Park, you can purchase Mickey Mouse ears at Curtain Call Collectibles and have them embroidered with "It's a Girl!" or "It's a Boy!". You could also bring a pink or blue onesie to include as part of your announcement. Be sure to pick up a complimentary "I'm Celebrating!" button as you enter Magic Kingdom. You can even have the button personalized with your news for a small cost at Ye Old Christmas Shoppe located in Liberty Square.

My best advice would be to capture this magical memory with a personalized Capture Your Moment photo session. Click here to check for reservation availability. The great news is that all Capture Your Moment photo sessions offer an iconic Magic Kingdom Park setting which includes a view of Cinderella Castle. If you cannot reserve a date and time, you can find a Disney PhotoPass photographer in front of Cinderella Castle to take a few photos of your special occasion. Either of these options is a great way to capture this special memory and will help you share the big news with those that can't be with you that day.

I hope this information helps you plan your gender reveal! While you are celebrating, The World's Most Magical Celebration is happening too! Be sure to check out all of the fun happening throughout the theme parks!

Wishing you many magical memories as you welcome your future Mouseketeer! Congratulations!

    Smiles,
    Lisa
