Welcome to planDisney, Laura! I'm so excited for you to experience your very first visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Be sure to ask for a 1st Visit celebration button when you arrive so that other Guests and Cast Members can share in the celebration with your family!
Laura, staying hydrated at the Walt Disney World Resort is especially important during these warmer months, and I'm happy to confirm that you can bring in water bottles of any size as long as they are not glass. Just be sure it's something you'll be comfortable carrying around for the day! If you plan to bring a cooler, there are some
guidelines to sizes posted online that you'll want to check out to ensure you don't have any problems entering the parks.
I'll also share that there are water stations and cups of ice water readily available (free of charge!) to Guests at many of the quick-service locations in the theme parks. You can grab these small cups with or without purchasing a meal - there is usually a separate counter where you can grab and go! Another great feature in the
My Disney Experience mobile app is to search for
water bottle refill stations; if you do bring in your own bottles, you can visit these stations at any time to top off your water!
Laura, in addition to staying hydrated, check out these other
panelist tips for staying cool during your upcoming visit! You'll find lots of great advice from my panelist pals on the best attractions, restaurants, and things to pack in your park bag to beat the heat!
I hope this helps, Laura, and I hope you have the most amazing visit! If you have any other planning questions before your arrival, feel free to come back and
let me know! I'm always happy to share the magic!
See you real soon,
Alison
