Doing the EPCOT Seas Aqua Tour next week, and the website says photography encouraged in non-"backstage" areas. What is considered non-back stage? Could I take a waterproof camera (e.g. a GoPro) in the tank with me? Thanks!

    Hi Christopher,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us an awesome question about one of the coolest tours available at Walt Disney World Resort, the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour! I love the fact that there is now a way for non-SCUBA-certified Guests to be able to experience Caribbean Coral Reef at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion at Epcot.

I did the Epcot DiveQuest program several years ago and, from what I understand, the picture-taking guidelines are the same: you’ll be able to take as many pictures as you want of the Reef and its fishy inhabitants, but you won’t be able to take pictures, for example, of the infrastructure that maintains the reef. Your guide will give you very clear instructions regarding what is and isn’t allowed, so I encourage you to ask them any questions that you may have at the beginning of your tour.

Have a Magical Day… and remember to just keep swimming!
