Doing Disneyland for the first time in February, please help! I am a Disney world professional (just joined DVC) but have no idea what to do in Disneyland. My son will turn 3 on the trip, so what do you recommend for us? We are going to stay 3 nights

Hey there Denise! As a coast-to-coast Disney fanatic, I totally understand where you are coming from!  I can still remember planning my first trip to Disneyland and feeling a bit overwhelmed since I wasn't sure to expect in comparison to Disney World.

I think 3 nights is a great time frame for enjoying the Disneyland Resort and since Cars Land is now open at California Adventure, you've picked a great time to visit!  I recommend devoting at least 1 full day to each park, possibly 2 to Disneyland, with downtime to enjoy Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort hotels.

Your little one will definitely enjoy spending time in Fantasyland, so be sure to check out the Disneyland exclusive attractions, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland, Casey Jr. Circus Train, and Storybook Land Canal Boats and It's a Small World.  You'll certainly want to carve out time to ride the Disneyland Railroad and be sure to visit Mickey's Toontown which features a whimsical backdrop and a fun kiddie coaster, Gadget's Go Coaster.  Mickey's Soundsational Parade is a must see as well as Fantasmic and "Remember Dreams Come True" the nightly fireworks spectacular.

At California Adventure, your little guy will love Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular, Monsters Inc: Mike and Sulley to the Rescue, Disney Junior LIVE on Stage, Red Car Trolley, plus anything in Bug's Land or Wilderness Creek Challenge Course. Don't forget about the all new Cars Land!  Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is my daughter's favorite!  End your evening with World of Color, a one of a kind show unlike any other!

As far as character dining, my picks are Storyteller's Cafe for breakfast with Chip 'n' Dale and their forest friends, and Goofy's Kitchen with Goofy and pals!

I'm out of room.  Don't forget to grab your Disneyland First Visit button upon arrival and please let me know if I can answer any additional questions!
