    We are doing Disney with a 6 & 4 yr old. We have 5 days and 5 day park hopper passes. We want to do the 4 parks, fit in some swimming and Downtown Disney. I also don't want to waste the 5th day of the park hopper pass. Please help me plan! I'm stressed

    Hello, Ashley!  I'm really happy you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. There is no need to be stressed, we are here to help! First, I want you to know that whatever you plan to do, know you are at Walt Disney World and you WILL be having a great time.  I understand just how much pressure it can be trying to make everything perfect but that's just not realistic.  

    If I were you, I would plan to be at the theme parks early each day.  Take advantage of the early morning Extra Magic Hours, which are only for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel  This will allow you to get in a few more rides or character meet and greets before the parks fill up for the day. After you've enjoyed the morning at a park, head back to your resort for an afternoon swim.  This can be a great refresher for young children like yours, my daughter so looks forward to doing this a few days when we are on vacation.  After some swimming, clean up and then head back to a theme park to enjoy the evening.  On a different day, I suggest enjoying a park through the late afternoon and then heading to Downtown Disney for the evening.  Downtown Disney is a lot of fun, we really enjoy having dinner there and then doing some shopping.  Since the shops are open late, there really isn't a rush once you're there for the evening.  

    A schedule like this will help you feel like you are maximizing your time at Walt Disney World while getting to see and do a little bit of everything.  I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
