We are doing our Disney Vacation in Dec 08. Our first day we are doing breakfast at Chef Mickeys - but we are not staying on Disney property (nor will we be visiting MK that day). Do we need to pay to park at the Contemporary? If so, other suggestions?

    Hi Laura,

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.  When you go through the security gate at the Contemporary Resort they will ask you where you will be eating and at what time.  Then they will direct you to the self-parking lot or Valet (this cost $10.00 on my last trip a few weeks ago).  If you are looking at using the self-parking, then you will not have to pay anything and you will receive a 3 hour parking permit so you will have plenty of time to enjoy your dining experience, perhaps a nice stroll around the resort (maybe even a stop at the gift shop or arcade!?!?!?).  I hope you have a very magical WDW trip!

    Best wishes,
    Brigitta
