    I will be doing the Disney full marathon 2014. Myself and 2 daughters will arrive jane 9th-13th. Please tell me which hotel is closest to finish line so we can stay as close to finish line as possible. hopefully walking distance-thx,

    Hi Donna!

    This sounds like so much fun!  I ran the Walt Disney World marathon in 2013 and cannot wait to do it again!

    There are a few hotels that are within walking distance to the finish line.  These are the Boardwalk/Epcot areas resorts.  (Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk Inn, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin)  The closest would be the Beach Club, followed by the Boardwalk Inn and Yacht Club.

    These are all fantastic resort choices!  My family loves staying at the Beach Club the best.  We love being able to walk into Epcot, and having the Boardwalk area for dining and entertainment. 

    Keep in mind, though, that to actually walk to these resorts after the race, you would need a ticket to enter Epcot.  These resorts are accessed by exiting Epcot in the back at the International Gateway.  You can also enter Epcot from that Gateway.  It's a great way to avoid the longer lines at the front entrance when you are going to that park.

    Since Epcot won't be open before the race, anyone wanting to get to the starting area would need to take the runDisney bus that will be leaving from the front of all resorts.
