We are doing Disney for the first time in Nov. we are treating our daughter to BBB, but would also like to get something for our son who is superhero and dress up obsessed. Is there costumes for him at any of the parks? or should we get some before we go?

Hello Nicole! Thanks for your question. I also have a superhero-obsessed little boy, so I know exactly how it is. You are in luck, because a really cool shop just opened up at Disney Springs this past May called Superhero Headquarters. This action packed store has all sorts of Avenger costumes and memorabilia. I was able to pick up a set of Avenger story books and action figures for my six year old. It is definitely on our list of places to visit when we go back for our family trip this December.

I believe that the Disney Store also carries superhero costumes online and in store. Since it is so very near Halloween time, I bet you can find lots of the same costumes in your local supermarkets, for potentially a lower price. I have not personally seen any super hero costumes in the parks, but I have seen pirate gear and Star Wars gear. If you'd rather save some luggage space and purchase a costume while you are there, I'd say your best bet is Superhero Headquarters.

I hope you have so much fun on your very first family visit to Walt Disney World! If you need anything else, we'd love to help in any way that we can. Feel free to stop by and ask anything. Have a magical vacation!
